Charles (Chuck) Roxin, President

Chuck Roxin is a Certified Management Consultant of the Institute of Management Consultants and President of Roxin Solutions. His firm works with companies in all sectors of the economy including manufacturing, health care, graphic arts, finance and public sector. In addition to his Board President role, Chuck is also a member of the LLC faculty, and has taught various classes including “Science in Everyday Life,” “Science and Public Policy” and “The Culture of Cities: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.”

Marianne LoGerfo, Vice President

To know Marianne LoGerfo is to love her. In addition to her role as Board Vice President, she is past President of the Board and an excellent, engaging LLC teacher.  Marianne’s career has focused on the needs of seniors. For over 22 years she was Director of North Shore Senior Center, and was responsible for the center’s growth from a small, informal organization to one that serves thousands of seniors in the Bothell area. She provides invaluable leadership and advice on the LLC Board in the areas of fund-raising, regulatory requirements, program planning, and marketing. She is a skilled listener, a warm, compassionate individual and beloved LLC teacher, offering classes on topics spanning art, history, literature, poetry, language, and photography.

Tema Nesoff, Secretary

Tema Nessoff is Secretary of the LLC Board of Directors and a member of LLC’s personnel committee. A previous resident of New York City and Berkeley, she now calls Seattle her home. Tema retired 5 years ago from the City of Lake Forest Park as a community developer. In retirement, she’s enjoyed traveling to Morocco, China, Turkey and Greece, stating that “Each trip had its magical  and exhilarating moments.”  Tema has been a student at LLC for several years, and this quarter is enjoying the lively discussions in the Sunday New York Times/Current Events class.

Damaris Rice, Treasurer

Damaris Rice, M.D.,  is a retired psychiatrist who maintained a practice in the Seattle area for 50 years. In addition to her position as LLC Board Treasurer, Damaris’ retirement pleasures include gardening, reading and playing bridge. She’s also a regular student at LLC, currently enrolled in the Weekend Wall Street Journal discussion group. She views LLC as “a wonderful organization which promotes community spirit.”
