Class Description

This class will explore new ideas out of the budding Eco-Marxist tradition. The title of the class comes from a book by Kohei Saito, Marx in the Anthropocene: Towards the Idea of Degrowth Communism. We will examine and discuss this book as well as the ideas of a number of professors influenced by Saito. A project he says aims to "Bring together the red and the green."
